WARDED TO REESE URQUHART
How are you enjoying the boxing lessons? Personally, I'm loving pummeling the crap out of the dummy!
END WARD
Does anyone else think it's interesting how different scents can affect your mood? You know, like how citrus scents such as orange and lemon can perk you up and flowery scents like lavender can calm you down? I mean, I know the art of aromatherapy is nothing new or groundbreaking, but I guess I never really stopped to think about it before. I wonder why they affect us like that. Scientifically, I know it has to do with the brain and stuff, but. Yeah.
Anyway, all of this nonsensical rambling and wondering is stemming from the fact that I had an hour long bubble bath after Quidditch practise earlier and I had a difficult time picking what fragrances to use in it. I ended up with apple cinnamon and vanilla, so I'm really relaxed and half asleep right now as I'm writing this.
I think I'm going to suggest to the Headmaster that we introduce invigorating scents to the classrooms. Maybe that would help people stay awake during classes.
